Information You Submit
Search entries
A name, place, or other term entered into a search tool is passed to the independent provider that operates that tool. Haskell County Busted Mugshots does not store or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages
If you send a message or other contact submission, we may retain the information you provide so that we can respond or address the request. We do not share message content outside our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Technical Data and Cookies
Like many websites, the service and its providers may collect routine technical information when a page loads, including:
- Internet protocol address.
- Browser type and version.
- Device type and operating system.
- Pages viewed and time spent on those pages.
- Referring website, when available.
- Date and time of access.
Cookies
Cookies and similar tools help measure how visitors use the service. Your browser may allow you to refuse or remove cookies. Some functions may work differently if cookies are blocked.
Why We Use Data
Collected information may be used for ordinary operation and improvement of the service, including the following purposes:
- Maintain the service and improve page performance.
- Send a submitted search request to the appropriate partner service.
- Understand which information readers find useful.
- Identify, investigate, and correct technical problems.
- Deliver advertising that may reflect general interests.
Other Sites and Advertising
The service links to government portals, custody locators, court resources, and third-party search tools. After you follow an outbound link, that destination's privacy policy and practices apply. Review those terms before submitting information there.
Advertising partners may use their own systems to measure activity across sites and tailor advertising. Those activities occur under the advertising partner's practices, not under the control of Haskell County Busted Mugshots.
When Data May Be Shared
We do not sell personal data. Information can nevertheless be made available to limited recipients when necessary to provide the service or meet a legal obligation:
- Search partners that process a submitted query.
- Analytics providers that help measure site use.
- Advertising networks that serve or measure advertisements.
- Law-enforcement agencies or government bodies when a valid legal order requires disclosure.
Security Measures
We use reasonable, best-effort administrative and technical safeguards suited to this service. No internet-connected system can be guaranteed completely secure, and we cannot promise that information will never be accessed, altered, or disclosed without authorization.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has submitted personal information, a parent or guardian may ask us to delete it.
Your Information Choices
Subject to applicable law and the information actually held, you may request to:
- Receive a copy of personal information we maintain.
- Correct information that is inaccurate.
- Request deletion of personal information.
- Opt out of certain processing where an option is available.
Use the Contacts page for a privacy request. The request cannot control information held by a separate government office, search partner, analytics service, or advertising network.
